Founded by Dusty and Erica Lyle, Pause Saunas grew out of their love for honest materials, warm spaces, and quiet time well spent.

We’ve lived and worked in Hayward, Wisconsin, for nearly 15 years. What started as a custom furniture shop grew into something more—handcrafted spaces that help people slow down, warm up, and reconnect. Built by hand, grounded in purpose.
Pause Saunas is a small, family-run operation. Dusty builds each sauna by hand. Erica keeps everything moving behind the scenes. And most days, their kids aren’t far from the action. It’s a team effort—and it shows in the final product.
We only build saunas we’d be proud to use ourselves. No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just solid wood, honest work, and thoughtful, modern design—backed by the kind of care and quality that only comes from keeping it in the family.
